For this year Silverstroom was selected as the demonstration center to Host the World Enviroment day which could not be conducted due to reasons beyond organisational control. There are 5 Schools in Muzarabani currently under the Zambezi Valley Bioidiversity Project being funded by UNDP. These school are running the project which aims to combat youths and the communities against the upcoming global changes using sustainable methods. All the schools currently have managed to set ILUD gardens, nurseries, herbal gardens and rocket stoves. However, the water outrage in Muzarabani had been to setback in scaling up productivity as water shortages only leave crops that had resilience to water shortages such as rosella. The boreholes are targeted to be available in school by end of the next quarter, this will mark a very big turnaround for the schools and their respective communities regarding the project.
